Project description / summary:  The purpose of the project is to train 24 people from the NDC area in construction skills. The key activities will be practical training in plastering, painting and decorating, woodwork and brickwork; classroom based activities include health and safety and basic skills. Learners will also have the opportunity for work experience, site visits and the opportunity to meet construction employers. The programme will ensure that beneficiaries are linked to the major works that will that will take place in the NDC area in the future.
