The launch of Purple Patch Communications

As part of plans to keep work ongoing in the area after 2011, NDC and Moat House Community Trust have launched Coventry’s first ‘communications social enterprise’ called Purple Patch Communications!

Purple Patch is an enterprise marketing (business) which will offer a number of services to help clients get in touch with different audiences like local communities, businesses, public, private and voluntary sector. All profit made from the enterprise is then invested back into the WEHM community through Moat House Community Trust.

“We picked the name Purple Patch as it has several meanings – not only does it represent the NDC colour, but it also links to the WEHM area which we often refer to as our patch”, said NDC Director Afzal Hussain.

“Purple Patch is also a sporting term which means ‘a run of good luck’ and we will certainly be hoping for some of this for our new enterprise.”

The Purple Patch team uses the skillset and experiences of the NDC communications team which includes expertise in the public and private marketing sector, public relations and design fields.

Purple Patch can help you with the following services:
• Graphic and web design
• New media and e-communications
• Marketing and communications plans
• Public relations and media
• Events management
