HEALTHY COMMUNITIES COLLABORATIVE
PROMOTING EARLIER PRESENTATION OF CANCER SYMPTOMS

 

VOLUNTEERS URGENTLY REQUIRED

 

This project is raise awareness of the signs/symptoms of cancer, promote earlier presentation to GP enabling an earlier diagnosis and improve outcomes for patients.


A variety of events, displays, posters and information leaflets will be developed and distributed to inform/educate the local community of the signs and symptoms to watch out for and what to do if there are any concerns.


All events will bewithin the local area, with regular community team meetings and the occasional invitation from the Improvement Foundation to attend their National events.

Proactive local people are key to understanding how their communities work, volunteers are urgently required to be involved in this life saving project.
