Get Involved

The redevelopment of the area, or the Masterplan as it was previously known, has always involved local residents and local residents have always been very keen to be involved. Since 2004 there has been a group of local residents involved in a group called the Masterplanning Sub-group. As the name suggests, this was a sub-group of the NDC's Partnership Board and was delegated authority by the Board to work with NDC, Whitefriars and the City Council to ensure local residents influenced plans for the future and had their voices heard. This Masterplanning sub-group changed its name more recently to be called the Regeneration Action Team.  The group involved many of the same people and now focuses on other regeneration issues like green space improvements and estate management as well as the redevelopment.

The group is varied and represents all of the NDC areas. They meet once a month and the meetings have representatives from Whitefriars Housing, NDC and the developers BKW.

If you would like to be involved in the Regeneration Action Team (or RATS as they are known!) then fill in the below form and we will send you details of the next meetings.
