Name: Dance n Arts

Start date: 2004/05

End date: 2005/06

Project Lead: Pete Longden

Lead Organisation: Youth Services, Coventry City Council

Project description / summary:  The D 'n' A project will provide an opportunity for an existing group of young people who will form a production team. They will work on the development of a programme, which will finish with a series of productions at the end of March 2005. The team will decide the theme for the performances and advertise and audition for other young people locally to take part in the production. During the life of the project young people participating will have the opportunity to learn about all aspects of drama and theatre, incorporating into their production 'experiences' of a variety of professional performances in London and Stratford, etc.
