  • About Project

Name: Community Minibus

Start date: 2000/01

End date: 2004/05

Project Lead: Neville Carpmail

Lead Organisation: Coventry City Mission

Project description / summary:  The project is the continuation of the current "first year quick win" for a further two years, of the community minibus.  The current one-year lease expires on 28 June 2002 and the Transport Task Group are keen to continue to provide the service for the community.  The minibus us currently available to transport pre-registered groups of the NDC area for social/leisure, educational lifelong learning events and access to jobs etc.  This provides practical support for local people to "Have a chance and reason to learn" and enable people to "Have positive things to do" which were vision statements in the NDC Delivery Plan, as submitted in 2001.
