Our Community Involvement Team

At NDC, we have a team of staff dedicated to getting you involved in your community.  Check out this part of the website to find out all of the ways you can do this.

Name: Ruth Popejoy
Job Title: Capacity Building Officer
 

Ruth has worked at NDC since 200X.  Ruth's role is to support residents who hold positions of governance with NDC (who sit on our Partnership Board).  Ruth also runs training for community groups and manages NDC's Community Resource Fund.

Name: Florence Mudhai
Job Title: Community Involvement Officer
 

Flo's role is to be a visible presence in the NDC area, engaging and informing residents about the NDC programme and involving them in their community. Flo has worked at NDC since 2007 and also speaks fluent Swahili. 

Additional duties – Support role for Manor Farm Residents Association, Unity Action Forum Community Group and the African Women and Children's Support Group.

You can also pop in to the NDC office at any time and see one of the staff who would be happy to help you.  They are all usually available at our weekly 'Tea and Talk' sessions on a Tuesday afternoon from 2-3.30pm.
