The objectives of the Community Involvement Theme are:

  • Develop a partnership approach to encourage the involvement of residents with local agencies and other stakeholders to enable residents to influence and improve service delivery and make decisions that will regenerate the area.
  • Provide support to individual residents and groups to enable them to become involved and influence the NDC at all levels. 
  • Support meaningful consultation events, particularly with “hard to reach” groups
  • To encourage wider community and partner participation in the work of the WEHM Partnership.
  • To support and strengthen the role of residents in the governance of the WEHM NDC partnership.
