Name: Anti Social Behaviour Project

Coventry LAA Objective: NI 17 – Perceptions of Anti Social Behaviour

Start date: ? End date:?

Project Lead: Coventry NDC in conjunction with Youth Justice Board

This project addresses the growing issues of anti social behaviour in the NDC area. This project delivers a holistic approach to the issues of ASB. It pays for 2 PCSO’s to work in the NDC to tackle ASB. It also employs an anti social behaviour officer based jointly at the NDC office and the police station. The officer is responsible for attending ‘hot tasking’ every day with the police and chase action required by partner organisation to reduce the levels of ASB. The project also has access to a pot of money, which is used to tackle issues of ASB, which can be resolved via funding initiatives, such as professional witnesses.

Project allocation: £79,500
